That’s a loud venue to begin with so can’t imagine how loud it will be with Dinosaur Jr there.

Wasn't it advertised as them playing the two JD albums in full plus accompanying set of NO classics? Certainly was on posters for here it up here

Oh Yes definitely ,Probably the low ceiling and small room/capacity has something to do with the huge sound. Saw the first UK performance (I think) of Queen's of the stone age and it was immense 😃

Yes, I knew what to expect. Still felt odd. I know it's a thing now, but I've not been to a gig before where a band plays a single album in order, never mind two.

We saw back to back nights of the Melvins and each night they played 2 albums in their entirety - 4 albums total.

Great experience, especially if you only know the albums by listening in their entirety instead os streaming on shuffle.

Wide Awake swapping Red Stripe for Brewdog Lost Lager has already ruined the day for me. Won’t be able to enjoy any of the bands now.

It's not a gig without Red Stripe or Tuborg.

Once I got over the bitter disappointment of no Red Stripe had a great day at Wide Awake. Highlights were Nice Biscuit, Glass Beams, Butch Kassidy and Osees (though I only saw the last 30 minutesish).

Just landed back from an amazing weekend at Movement Festival.

Really friendly atmosphere, great music and people that love their city. Highly recommended for 2024.
