Potential fixed the intermittent starting issues. Ignition switches are a common failure and are cheap as chips. It can cause a host of key related issues or electrical issues. I was experiencing the latter.
Working on these Boxster is not great, fiddling job but well worth it. So far so good, the key is also turning a lot more freely and it’s starting on the button.
I’ve started the door cards, to keep the labour costs down with the upholster, I’ve chosen to remove the existing carpet myself.
