Cloudflare assure me that they've sorted the cross-user CNAME grandfathering... and since I cannot check externally, I'm switching nameservers to find out.
So I'm moving
microcosm.appfrom Akamai Linode DNS to Cloudflare DNS.Will monitor for breakage on the dashboard below... basically if it goes red, I back out.
