I think this one would be best suited to listening as the sun starts to go down. Starts off very jazz infused, before getting more abstract, harder and very dark by the end.

Can't believe I only just spotted this thread! Just had a little cruise through and listen to various bits and bobs.

I started getting in to jungle/drum and bass relatively late - mid 90s (in my mid-teens). I think this was probably my 'in', coming from hip-hop and hoovering up as much MoWax/Ninja Tune as I could find. I still really rate the drum programming on this.

Ha, well spotted! I’m actually a bigger Peter saville fan than I am a nEw order fan! Love some of his factory stuff around then. O2 must have been pretty great. I was born in ‘80 so a lot of that sort of stuff ingrained itself, but took me a while to get over that automatic rejection of the previous generation thing in order to appreciate it :-D

I had a Monochrome Set LP on just yesterday, in fact!

Nice! I was born in the 90s so I had a lot of their discography to catch up on. Hanging out with my friends parents helped me a lot.
