confirm if you're using the iCloud Private Network feature

Firefox/Android/GiffGaff is having the invisible avatar problem, no iCloud. It's only custom avatars which are missing, the geometric generic ones are visible

Geometric avatars = Gravatar.
Actual avatars = lfgss.microcosm.app.
