Tell her to get in the bin. If she planted the onions she should have pulled them up before you moved onto the plot. If it’s on yours, it’s yours.
We didn’t have immediate neighbours for our first couple of years, only got 1 now. She’s a very strict Christian though so will be fun to see her reaction to my partners summer gardening attire.
Our opposite neighbours only come twice a year at most. Toying with the idea of pruning the trees on their plot as they’re blocking my light significantly and they definitely won’t do it.

Just met my plot neighbour. Think she's one of the "elders" I've been warned about. She immediately told me off for eating the spring onions that were on my plot because she grew them. Not sure why she's thinks she can just grow wherever she wants and expect me to be mystic meg and to leave stuff for her to harvest. When I mentioned I was leaving the onions which have flowered because the bees like them she replied with "your plot is not for the bees'. Oh boy, we are not going to get along.
