Just spent too much on components for a 20+ y.o. frame

Negative, that frameset is cool as hell and deserves to be used!
Done similar (assuming you got the Chain Reaction 105 groupset deal?) with a CAAD3. Rides really nicely too!

Yeah I dig it too.

Yours is truly a mean machine.
I got rear and front derailleur, crankset, chain, cassette and calipers for 270€ down here in Italy. Extralite levers and Shimano trigger shifters bankrupted me ): -

Worth it. Would much rather take a cool frame and make something individual than buy off the peg, satisfying too. How come you chose flat bars not drops?
-

I just need more time to source the dropbar and the levers, the goal is
to have both setups -

So, I’m moving to Aus at the end of the year and need to be travelling light. So my quiver is being broken up. Both these bikes have been dreams for years. The System Six is the Made In The USA carbon front end / aluminium back end in 54. It is like brand new. There is no worms in the varnish, it rides perfectly and would be a crit weapon. I have had two which had the worm in the past that I wish I’d never got rid of. Happy to sell frame only or with DA9000 rim brake setup. It’s got SI cranks which have been well used and are scuffed but still super light and work perfectly. The Moots stem won’t go with this it’ll come with the OG mofo systemsix stem. And it won’t come with wheels. I need those so I can ride. I reckon with the DA I’d be looking around £800 but I’ll talk.
THE BLACK LIGHTNING CAAD7 is a museum piece. No sh6t. It’s a 56. It has been ridden a total of about 250km on its life. 100km of them under me. The Campag Record 10 speed is literally brand new. Makes you realise just how special that stuff is. Wheels unmarked. I’ve got the original tyres even. It’s superb. Absolutely mint. I would be looking around £2k for it on here. It’s not advertised anywhere but I want it to go to someone who gets these beautiful things. I spent literally 20 years trying to find one. It’s amazing, rides beautifully but up here on Harris the roads are too coarse and I’m worried I’ll chip it. If I still lived down south I’d ride it every day. It’s immense.
I have tons of other photos if you want. I live on the Isle of Harris though so it’ll be post only, unless you want to come up on holidays (it looks like picture 2) !! 😂

Just try and find another. Almost impossible in any condition and this is faultless. I’m happy to discuss if there’s interest though. It’ll be for sale of LFGSS for more.

Talking prices, what do we think a fair price for a Caad12 time brake frame set is? Is 450 way too much? I’d be buying not selling
Any takers on this
