Me neither. I was ropeable but I need to thin things out. Gutted really because it was a terrific bike and just as good as I’d remembered !

It’s mental. I have away my utterly mint Made in USA Systemsix frameset for £130. I’d spent 10 years trying to find one and never saw one as good and then when I need to sell to move I give the thing away for less than I paid. I mean discs are great sure and I’m certain 28mm tyres are too but all my bikes are rim and 25mm and all ride just like bikes. Guess I’m cheap to keep these days.

Indeed Howard it’s been a while since I’ve taken one out and yes, oh yes, oh yea. It had the lip on the axle. Funny it wouldn’t go past that !!!! 😂

I’m a bit loathe to smack it with a hammer as I’ve had this crankset for years and I’d like to keep it in one piece.

I have a pair. Brand new old stock. Shiny (well Matt) brand new tings in 172.5mm. Drop me a DM.
Pull it apart including bearings. Strip it to bare frame, clean with alcohol or brake cleaner. Refit bearings using Loctite 741 or 609. Plenty grease. Never had creak since I used the Loctite.
