• Just back from Monkey Run Morocco. What a blast!
We arrived in Marrakech on Thursday morning, mooched about and then got a bus to Merzouga on Friday morning before spending Saturday test riding the monkey bikes and a quick spin to have a look at the race paddock for Rally Du Maroc which was pitched up nearby (some outrageously cool vehicles there, I'll dig out those photos for a post later on).
We set off on Sunday morning from Merzouga and spent the next week travelling across the Sahara desert and Atlas Mountains, we covered about 850km and had to deal with two of the lads being particularly unwell (stomach virus and heat stroke) so we didn't quite cover the ground we had anticipated but it was great craic!
We covered some properly challenging terrain where roads were described as "seasonal" routes which in one instance turned out to be a riverbed which is dry this time of year and it took us 4hrs to cover 40kms but again what a blast to do that on a stupid little 49cc bike designed for children!

Morocco is a bikers paradise, I'd 100% go back again but it'll probably be on a 250-450cc enduro bike next time I think...

Special mention to @pdlouche who made up a bunch of patches for our onesies at extremely short notice! They looked absolutely fantastic and proved a great ice breaker with the locals in every village we arrived into!
