Could try hook you up with a feature if you want some limelight .... I've got a connect...
So lush btw - looking forward to the photoshoot...;-) -

Yeah why not! Was gonna hit up someone I know at TMH once my bro takes some photos.
Still loads of finishing, snags and plant placement to do. Curtains closed for the first time last night and it’s mad, like being in a cinema or a fancy hotel or something.

Looks so good. What's projector did you go for? Used to them looking much bulkier than that

This looks like the right place to ask,
Do we clad our extended 1950’s bungalow with vertical black stained Board and Bat or T1 11, or horizontally clad it with weatherboard or get over ourselves and live with the mismatched bricks? They are much worse irl. We live in the sticks and the local farm type builds and conversion are wooden clad and on in the main black. So it’s not exactly groundbreaking.

Grey render of gtfo.
Personally I'd go for black corrugated iron.
Are you going to add external insulation while you're at it? Probably worth it, in for a penny, etc.

Grey render can get in the sea! 😂
I voted corrugated iron as well, but have been vetoed!
Undecided about extra insulation, the house is pretty well wrapped already, cost vs savings needs working out. -

Tiny and excellent. Has to be dark / curtains closed really but the picture quality and digital keystone type stuff is pretty amazing for such a tiny thing. One thing to note is that it's not a "white paper" Android TV device so some apps like BBC iPlayer don't technically work on it, but there are workarounds. Like plugging a firestick or whatever in.

Do you just project it onto the wall. That stretch ceiling looking great

I'd think about the roof - its pretty dominant ( at least in those pix. ) Could go nice plain clay red tile matched with trad black barn siding. or if you want a more minimal rural vibe, corrugated roof and vertical board and batten would do. Render could work (not grey) if the roof was zinc.

It’s not as bad as it looks now that there’s moss back on it. But in the future, when it need replacing or with extend the dormers on the back I think this is the way forward with it.

I would leave the bricks. house is sweet. and could look nicer with different windows and door.
Would only render outside if you were looking at external insulation

Yeap, never had a screen. Maybe it’s way better… didn’t leave a gap for it to disappear into the ceiling though so that ship has sailed

I approve ! As it’s quite long and low I think I’d go siouxx (pre weather) painted - vertical boards
or off white render with some white oiled oak detail panels.

Love a good bit of Rural Office.

Those are the new windows :/ they genuinely are much better a the old ones. I can’t be doing with coloured frames. The large ones were 8 panels and had massive frames, the new ones are as big as we could go glass wise without spending fortunes on special hinges etc and Liz loves that door! :D It needs stripping back and refinishing, but it works with the open porch idea she has. If the bricks matched I wouldn’t be thinking about cladding tbh. Before I commit I think I’ll try repointing a section with whit mortar to see if that helps? Most older places are done that way in the village, so?

Is that the sioox stuff? I’ve no idea how it works, but it looks good.

The rural office image of the grey barn with the cat is just grey stain tho.

Nice one dude. Sounds like you got it covered. It's a good looking house. Similar to many around my way. Looks like you have a lot of space too
