I did. Like a dog with a bone!
I complained officially, via BVRLA.

Looking to replace a 2021 Rockhopper rock shox Judy with a rigid fork for touring with at least one set of eyelets. It's quick release axle.
Would any of the surly forks work or is there any other suggestions?

I need another set of these bolts with grippy washer things, for internal threaded axles. Not sure what I should be searching for, to be honest. Anyone know either where I can buy these, or what search terms I should be using?

Hope do a few that might work, e.g. https://www.biketart.com/products/hope-m10-stainless-steel-bolts-washers-pair-domed?variant=40809528492211

Ah! Yes that looks exactly the thing. Thanks!
All I was coming up with was standard track nuts. -

No prob. They also do "trials bolts" which are a socket cap screw - less susceptible to rounding than the dome head ones

But maybe you want m5 or m6 rather than m10?
The axle will slot into the dropout/track end if it's a smaller bolt

Good point. The axle does slot in to the dropout/track end. The bolt will be a similar diameter to a QR skewer as you seem to be able to use them in these hubs as well. I’ll get my callipers out and then see if I can find something in that diameter.

Ryde trace trail 25 650b. £12 in the superstar components sale!

IIRC they are M6, try to find something socket cap as they tend to slip less.

Just got the callipers out and they are indeed m6. I’m struggling to find anything specific other than the m10 hope ones.

Pop by your LBS and see if they have some? I did have a whole box stashed away but it's in the lockup.

Browsing hub spares on trials shops might turn up something

Nice one, yeah that gives me something to search for, which is what I was struggling with

Every 3-6 months I need to use Photoshop and InDesign for a few days. I used to own creative suite, but now they seem to have chucked that out and now I’d need to subscribe for a lot of money. I’ve got some files saved as indd/psd/pdf that I need to edit. Any ideas, other than pestering people to use their login? Any other cheap or free software for my extremely sporadic usage?

• #116893
You could just buy some knurled flat M6 washers and then use whatever fasteners. Maybe some nice countersunk bolts and washers
-
• #116894
Yeah they seems to be popular with trials hubs

Thanks for the links!
A mate has some halo bolts in stock in his shop though he couldn’t remember what size they are - I’ll give them a try.Although a qr skewer does seem to be working just fine for now! :-)

Any other cheap or free software for my extremely sporadic usage
Usual suspects are https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/GIMP for raster and https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inkscape for vectors

Nothing InDesigns like InDesign. Can you not just create a burner email and use a free trial for the few days you need?

Has anyone shipped a bike to the US, It's so expensive to bring it with me on a flight, I'm wondering about shipping it in advance. Any advice greatly appreciated!

You did pursue the claim then?
