I'm trying to get hold of a velo orange stem which is out of stock at freshtripe. Any suggestions for any other places to try?

Ah. I don't have one of those in the cellar.

Can anyone who's better at googling than me help me find this in stock anywhere? The only place I can find it is asking a tenner for postage which seems silly.

No stock with the distributor until 20/11/23, doesn't help find it cheaper but might make up your mind on expensive postage.

Ah, that's annoying. Thanks for the info! Annoyingly I definitely have one tucked away somewhere but can't find the bastard. I have one on my other bike so if I can't track it down I'll probably just swap it between the two when needed. It's only 1 bolt.

I'm sure someone in the 3D printing thread will do one and post it to you for a couple £

The wonders of technology! I'll have a proper look for the one I've lost but might well give that a go. Thanks.

Insulated curtains - we have heavy polyester ones with a layer of vinyl facing outside.
They are dusty and have dog hair on them.
How do I clean them?
Can I put them in my washing machine? -
• #116847
Take one to a dry cleaner and ask them what did they think they could do. " Will you just put them in a washing machine? How much for X number of curtains?" That way you'll find the cost and the method you could use. I'd put them on a wool cycle as that's pretty gentle then cool iron, fold them up and throw them in the bin.

Ha funnily enough I went through this whole thing and couldnt find it anywhere, I ended up buying it from Bikester as it was the cheapest.

Triggernometry podcast - Is it as bad as it looks or is there more to it than the sum of it's parts?

I’ve been an Eneloop man for years, but what are people’s opinion of the newish lithium rechargeables like paleblue et al?
So I've done a very silly thing that i didnt think was even possible. I have built up a brand new aluminium rim and straight away punctured the rim bed with a tyre lever trying to get a tyre on...
Obviously its not really fixable but is it really dangerous?
