Funny they managed to miss out the word “National” twice without noticing

Is "stupidity" the way to describe someone lauding the holocaust?
Unless you're not aware that "international bankers" is an antisemitic trope used to describe Jews.

I have encountered people who really do think like this. How do you deal with those who deny such well documented events?
I can’t even talk to them.
The common thread amongst all these conspiracy theorists is they ignore all the evidence and instead create a fantasy so they can feel special. -

Does the thought of Tucker Carlson running for president fill anyone else with The Fear?
Or Trump nominating him VP? Not sure which scenario is worse
-
• #17212
Trump's not going to nominate someone who will upstage him.
-
• #17213
Why would Carlson want to be Veep anyway? It's a thankless, powerless, job.
-
• #17214
Carlson was recorded badmouthing Trump. Trump would never forgive that.
-
• #17215
And yet Trump gave Carleon his first interview since being charged with a criminal offence. Trump used that as an opportunity to make Carlson crawl, of course, but he might see making him Veep as another opportunity to do that while also gaining from Carlson's huge fanbase.
The biggest argument against Carlson accepting the offer would be that he has a good chance of defeating Trump as the next Republican candidate for president.
-

Republican? I thought Carlson was a socialist.
-
• #17217
This is what gives me the most Fear.
Carlson is basically a younger, smarter version of Trump but without the baggage. If he beats Trump for the Republican nomination, I reckon he would wipe the floor with 82 year old Biden.

Looking forward to how the evangelicals tie themselves in knots to rationalise a court ruling of sexual assault.
-
• #17219
Sure there's space for it on this list, if it's not already covered.

Not evangelicals but female republicans

If making comments on tv about wanting to have sex with his own daughter didn’t bother the magats the civil rape case won’t concern them.

With the writers strike in the USA I can no longer rely on Colber/Myers/Kimmel et al to give me a summary of the state of play in the USA.
Where do people go to for a reliable account of what’s going on in the USA?
-
• #17223
Russia.
-
• #17224
I tend to think Al Jazeera gives a reasonable account.
-
• #17225
And I tend to agree with you, presuming you're not being flippant for once, they're surprisingly unbiased.
Meanwhile, in New Hampshire...
