Turns out one of the projects they worked on is one of our bathroom references...

Desiva in Poland, we are their first UK customer. Not cheap but when I looked at the cost of higher end stuff here in the UK you couldn’t get anything custom unless you went ply/Formica etc.
There are a few metal furniture companies in Germany and Italy but that’s Velocio kitchen territory.
This whole bathroom will not be much more than greige/hotel one even with the furniture.
@Ben6899 there are some shiny hook hanging things in the back, not sure if they are stainless or chrome plated. -

Bahaha

Keep an eye on them, I would suggest. Then again, if they're out of sight... they're not exactly gonna rust through.

The poor workmanship would piss me off no end - but fibreglass is not really a roofing system you want if you are going to look at it right ? The application is inherently going to have texture and seams and be horrible grey - people do use it to replace lead with fake decor profiles and it still looks like shit. Could the roof take some plants maybe ?
On the subject of boats and fibreglass @shipwreck -https://youtu.be/s6HEwWtbERM
- 1hr of a guy at Cockwells re-glassing an 80s speedboat. Impressive (hard looking) work especially the many gelcoats, cutting and polishing etc. -

If only chrismanc could get those boys to fix his roof! It's so galling to have to pay for a bad job.
Perhaps Sedum trays would be a good way to cover it, provided they've been able to make it watertight. -
• #6483
Bet they cockwell boys aren't cheap, workman ship looks great.

Definitely not that kind of care and attention that's gone into my roof.....
Whilst it's not going to be a glass like smooth finish , it should not look like a relief map either. Given the standing water on it currently , it's definitely not acceptably flat
Was originally rubber which looked better but developed a leak . The GRP is the roofers attempt to put something on that does not leak

Some of it will be covered with decking , but not all of it. Problem is I now have zero confidence in the roofs integrity
-
• #6486
Tile it then. Adds an additional layer of protection. Also looks less shit.
-
• #6487
Not all of it is being covered, so doesn't fix all the issues
-
• #6488
Go nuts tile all of it etc
-
• #6489
If the builder / roofer pay for it then why not !

Where’s the place for black 2 col rads next day delivery?
-
• #6491
Nowhere, everything is at least a week the now and depends if they have stock.
Took me 5 days to get a rad for a customer a few weeks ago, pain in the neck.
-
• #6492
Argh. Cheers. Any recommendations?
-
• #6493
We mostly use Richmond's or City plumbing, but there's tons of places online if you know the size and you want black too.
-
• #6494
Cheers. I get stuck in a loop with online trade centric stores, they are so shit I can’t trust them.
Example: city plumbing uses photos of black radiators but product description states white.
Do Richmond’s have an online presence? -
• #6495
Try here:
https://www.bathroommountain.co.uk/heating/radiators-by-colour/black-radiatorsNo idea of stock levels but they do next day delivery. We got our triple column anthracite ones from there.

The main reason I use a bricks and mortar is say its damaged its a lot easier to return.
Richmonds is a indy merchant if you've got a local branch call them, city if its online and is what you say visit the branch and see if they can order it. If its the wrong one they sort it.
-
• #6497
Yeah I’m into that too. Cheers.

I had to get a rad that was smaller than 300 recently and could have done offline but had it come damaged i just couldn't be arsed with the hassle of sending it back. City were like £20 more expensive and saved me a whole lot of hassle.

I’ve ended up with two Larq water filters. If a Brita doesn’t cut it for you then maybe a Larq will. Who knows if the marketing bumph is real, it’s got a cool flashing light and looks good.
£60 ono

Apologies if this is the wrong thread (and also quite dull). I need a new back door. What the fuck am I looking for in a back door and where should I look for one? It doesn't need to be posh as long as it's not an ugly bit of white plastic and can't be kicked in by an elderly neighbour. A cat flap would also be nice.
