The one common feature of all street protests, and I've been to more than most people, is that the participants believe the media ignore them. Sometimes that is true but I also think the effort people go to to organise and take part in demos, and their strength of feeling about whatever it is they are against, or for, tends to make them think the event itself is more newsworthy than it is. I would expect to see more about XR tomorrow when there is a large march taking place.
