At the pointy end of the road bike class, people are chasing aero with 💷💷💷 just as much as they were with tribars

Maybe, but the baseline entry is lower and for me it would be more of a case of going back to a "run what ya brung" vibe.
My Shiv is gathering dust again, I'm tired of chasing lower numbers, I'm not gonna win anything any time soon so anything that might bring me out of retirement I'm viewing as a good thing.
