Disappointed that Race across the World has ejected one of the couples who were last to the checkpoint. Unnecessary extra 'jeopardy' in the format.

Same as S1 and S2, although in S2 one of the teams lost their money filled bumbag so another ejection was unnecessary.

Why am I not enjoying Beef?? One of those where the premise is good but can't get into it. Please let me know what's wrong.

I couldn't get past the first 10 minutes, so you're not alone.

It's great, but vibe changes a bit over the course of the series, the first 10 minutes just covers the initial incident kinda thing, so it's an important part that's referred to a lot but not a good indication of everything that follows.

asides from the dog injury at the start which I never enjoy seeing it was going pretty gangbusters right up until they lost me at the events in ep 7. you can't do the break up to make up trope if one person is just being a suppurating arsehole to the other for no reason and nothing about it is ever resolved between them other than a bit of the guilty party going "well both sides...". they didn't deserve any of the stuff that came after that, they wanted tossing in the sea.

No need, they bin almost the entire cast and the end of season 2 there’s a bit of a timeline switcharoo so that they can start fresh in S3… which isn’t really Picard Season 3, it’s TNG Season 8

Jesus fucking Christ. I should have gone to bed and not watched one more episode.

Not a fan eh. What's your particular steak with it? Might help me understand my dislike. I find almost all the characters grating for one, but there's obviously supposed to be an element of dark humour which should have worked but it really misses the mark.

Watched Obsession last night and it was not good. Do not recommend.

Enjoyed Beef. Yes lots of the characters are awful people, but that's presumably part of the point. A slick watch with some cool elements, and a ridiculous but enjoyable storyline.

I thought the point was that they are all not that bad after all.
