Thanks for letting me see what the view might've been. I climbed up to the top of Electric Mountain a couple of weeks ago. I was inside a cloud the whole way. Visibility must've been 20m tops.

Definitely. But you have to say where it is too. That's the rules*.
*I might have made that up.

Sounds like a good rule, though.
It’s the road on the way to Inversnaid in the Trossachs, taken yesterday afternoon.

I thought I vaguely recognised it.
I went to Inversnaid by road when I was a kid, so something like 45 years ago. We lived in Helensburgh so it took ages but as the crow flew was probably less than 15 miles.

Ahh, that’s cool! I’ve only ever been down that road once before on a road bike, about 10 years ago when I first moved up to Scotland (and I only remembered because of RideWithGPS personal heatmaps).
I also forgot how steel the climb is back out of Inversnaid, and this time I had the pleasure of doing it fixed :/

We had a Morris 1000 traveller and I can vividly remember the engine roaring as my dad forced it back up the hill. I wanted him to stop so we could have a good look at the river/waterfall, but he wouldn't.
We also drove in a massive tour bus on this one to Kalikratis. The tour bus does it once a week, other than that it's just shepherd's, vultures and golden eagles up there. More info here https://cyclingcreta.gr/the-climb-of-kallikratis/
