Guess those Dugasts are the widest latex tubes available? I could be half tempted to try them on fast touring tyres like hypers or marathon supremes; I guess above 35mm people are using road tubeless?

What is the recommandation for latex tubes between michelin and vittoria ?
Or Hhas this thread died with the mass adoption of tubeless. -

I use the vittorias and get on fine with them. Got a few on sale for £6 a short while back. Have only ever found them with a 48mm valve.
(Vittoria valve extenders do not work - in my pack of two, both were duff).

I never got on well with Vittoria but know plenty of people who have similar experience of Michelin - so get Challenge.

I'm tempted to follow greeno's advice as he is my hero, but i also had challenge recommended over vittorias so i'll try that first. thanks forum

If you puncture I’ll always be there for you with a spare vittoria X

I used Michelin ones in challenge open tubulars for a while. Every new tyre I buy is trying to get back to that feeling.

I've used both. They both seem to do the same thing. I think that Vittoria do bigger ones and can be used with inline valve extenders so I've used them more recently.

Forgive me if I'm teaching you suck eggs but they were extenders and not the interchangeable valves for their tubs? I've seen a few people trying to use the red tub valves as extenders at the velodrome.

Greetings latex lovers. How do you locate slow punctures?
I have FOUR latex tubes that won't hold air. All will pump up to sensible pressures in a tyre but only stay inflated for maximum 20 minutes, then deflate almost but not quite fully. Off the bike I can't find a hole in any of them. Tips?

Same as normal tubes - submerge in water and look for bubbles.
Couldn't see any Michelin ones that were for 28mm tyres, not that it matters I guess.
