@Carabo has something like that on a Dadbike.

Yeah been running them for a few months now. Some play (little annoying kink in the pedalstroke) has developed due to the plastic spacers they provide for 68mm bb shells. Need to replace those with alloy ones.

Has anyone got any 1st hand experience (& therefore a recommendation) of integrated carbon MTB stem and bars?
I love the idea of these, but also don't want to pay circa £300 for the Syncros/Bontrager ones... and by the same token I enjoy having my teeth in their current position... so..... you know...

Teeth are overrated, fucking send it

I’ve got zero first hand experience but I read up on a couple a while back when I really fancied some. There’s a thread on mtbr or chinertown that pointed to a particular one that folk seemed to say was the better option. From memory, it was one of the direct copies of the syncros bars on AliX that was about £80ish.
I’ll try find the thread once I’ve had a coffee. -

My CF606 fork arrived earlier this week, about 2 weeks from placing order to delivery, pretty pleased with that. Fork looks great.

I didn’t pull the trigger in the end, I’d have been losing 5mm on my stack height which I hadn’t considered and want to avoid. A shame, cos it sounds great.

hmmm I have no idea of a) current stack height and b) what this fork does to it. Just wanted TA and 3-bolt cage points

You shouldn’t worry. It’s only cos I bought a frame on the smaller side so am keen not make it smaller. Plus I’m overthinking it, and you shouldn’t.

Another Hylix seatpost review. I ordered one without graphics at no extra cost for £58. It's really light 159g in a 400mm x 27.2 fiddly as fuck to set up and adjust because it's really hard to access the front bolt. I couldn't get a torque wrench in there just a mini multitool allen key. It feels rock solid no creaking or bolts working loose after riding on rough roads which seems to be a common complaint with these and T-bar seatposts in general. I accidentally over torqued the clamp slightly on installation as my seatpost clamp says 6nm i checked only checked the instructions for the post a couple of days later and it says 4.5nm max on the post so i backed it off. Nothing bad happened I'm sure someone on here had one crimp/crack at 5nm. I don't know if these have got better or i just got a good one as I've experienced none of the problems others have had with these. The UD carbon finish is abit unusual and not the best looking it's got an orange peel ripple effect on it and the lacquer is on the shiny side of satin rather than matt. Not perfect but light for the money and mine is surprisingly solid feeling.

I really like them!

I got them out of curiosity- about as good as the shimano ones they replaced - only thing is the cable adjuster isn’t sized correctly so can’t run a ferrule on the end of the cable. Hasn’t been chewed up yet.

I genuinely want the supplier of these to make some with DAVE instead of PAUL

I've had one of those for a while now, logos were laser-etched, so can't be acetoned off. I just flipped the ring around as the backside is solid black.
aaaah... never mind
