  • I didn't get to go but loved it when GP played 2 of the tracks on his Sat afternoon show - which was musically up there and one of his best shows this year yet. IMO.
    His interviewing skills are still shit though (how many times can one say "... I mean... yeah..." in 3 hours).

    I also fckng hate it when the BBC is very lazily cross-selling itself. So flipping annoying!!!!!!

    Came here to say this. The interview sections of the show are just becoming increasingly bloated and inane. While I might rate these people as musicians plenty of them seem to lead incredibly dull and self-centered lives. They usually have little to offer in terms of opinions on current affairs or whatever.

  • Quite possibly, he's got his fingers in too many pies what with his other radio stn and recent move, a label to run, festival(s), producing, DJ-ing, etc. But it clearly shows a lack of preparation in his interviews which is a shame really.
