It's sick. Needs a normal stem and 1x tho

I used to think I could build ugly bikes.
I'm standing down.

Paintjob is like an inverted mortadella. I’d love it with the same colours but a different pattern.

Hahahaha boomer bunch. If it's not a full black bike you don't like. Shame on you ! 💓💓💓

"Got any blacker?"

Yep! Thanks!

Wow, I actually really like this. Small details irritate me a bit, I'm a bit on the fence with that stem, and the third bottle cage could also be pink. Also, I would perhaps have done something different with 3T branding.

And those wheel stickers >>>>

Not bike related, but I’m looking for a decent gravel route somewhere in south/south east wales for a day out tomorrow. I’m based in Stroud, so something starting around Monmouth or Abergavenny maybe?

Cow print but pink like a pig?
Seems apprope since the seatpost binder thing makes them pretty much a pig in a poke right?

Ragley Trig now £1,100 + 0% credit available for a nice steel grav grav with GRX. Great value, I love mine.

If you're moving it on let me know, please?

The Mortadella 3t is like the plastic version of this. Both are fun.

If you’ve not done it before, just the 46 then 8 then canal back from Abergavenny is great.
You can spice it up by cutting the corner from the reservoir and going over the mountains and down through the trevil quarry. Sorry for terrible phone map!

As enjoyable as we all find riding CX bikes on dirt/muddy paths for 40km, is there any commercial logic for pro teams to get involved in gravel racing? Who here has even watched a gravel race ever?

Buyers be buying

Who here has even watched a gravel race ever?
Are we including things like GB Duro in 'gravel racing'? As I've followed a few events like that.
-
• #27023
No, but it might sell a few bikes? Everyone that used to ask me for bike tips now wants to know what gravel bike to buy

I definitely get the attraction of gravel bikes for people getting into cycling, and sportive style events to an extent. But not sure Valverde sitting on a Canyon bike in promo shots and doing a US gravel race will sell many bikes. Particularly when the bike looks that uncomfortable with narrow drops, turned in hoods, etc.

Do you think road bikes would sell nearly so well if it wasn't for brands making inspirational style ads with their pro riders sitting on uncomfy looking bikes?
