My worry about doing another diy service, is that we're spunking a load of money on a new wood floor. So if it leaks it'll be really shit and my OH will get upset.

Personally for something that you use every day I don't think it makes sense to skimp. But I don't control the budget.

My experience of leaks is the lower corners of the rubber seal getting loaded with crud and not sealing. Scraping that usually clears it up. Where/what are your leak issues

I think you're right. It's a small amount rather than a gush.

It looks like that area - so thanks for the tip. I need to have a proper look at the weekend.
