Yeah I never paid anything like that. But we bought a house and I splashed our. Hopefully it works in 10 years.

In what sense? I've only had two dishwashers.

This one often doesn't clean stuff probably, but then it's ancient and it's been a while since I gave it a thorough clean out. But overall most people's dishwashers seem to work.

Draws dont go in and out smooth, heavy door and bad closure. Doesn't clean so well. Sure it's been used a few years but it's at the end of life already.

Maybe try fix yours yourself? Plus give a good clean.
