Good to hear. I'd go on the Banham or Joseph Giles website to get a flavour of what you like, if that's out of your price range then I'd then try and find a similar product at someone like Franchi or SDS.

This is the most recent silent Gliss wall mount option I put up (ignore the fucked pvc, Everest are still to come out and fix it). The covers snap on with magnets. You can get taller, thinner mounts too.

If you want a Matt silver finish anodised aluminium is a much nicer finish to touch than stainless, it doesn’t have that prickly feel. It’s softer to touch and more residential.

It’s a more expensive finish, but you look at and interact with door handles all the time and I reckon you’d appreciate the extra spend every day.

Do. Brushed stairway handrails are a proper bugbear of mine, they’re horrid to slide your hand along compared to delicious soft brass, toasty warm wood or silky anodised alu.

That's a bit of clusterfuck though. The handle should really go on the lockrail and they've fucked up the panel moulding by cutting in the roses because the backset of the latch is too big.

Not to mention the alignment of screws on lever plate!

Door knobs are really annoying if you actually want to use them though. No opening the door when your hands are full.

Has anyone found any Hue compatible bulbs with a decent CRI? As pointed ouyt by @dbr the standard hue (warm white) ones are not great. They don't really mention CRI but I have found one pic of a box that says 80CRI.

80 is the standard BS that consumers are getting fobbed off with at the moment. I've not seen any higher CRI Hue compatible ones though.
