Good to hear. I'd go on the Banham or Joseph Giles website to get a flavour of what you like, if that's out of your price range then I'd then try and find a similar product at someone like Franchi or SDS.

You know it’s gonna be spendy when you can only purchase by making an enquiry

Hahaha, and the lead time will be in months not weeks.

Yeah that’s what the first question was about 😀 - currently the doors upstairs are a mishmash or door handles. Ideally we’d have something in brushed steel to match taps/window furniture.
@Prole. yeah that’s probably a good shout I’m just struggling for ideas/inspiration at this point in the project. Hence asking what the tastemakers of lfgss think

Can’t really go wrong with these imo

This is the most recent silent Gliss wall mount option I put up (ignore the fucked pvc, Everest are still to come out and fix it). The covers snap on with magnets. You can get taller, thinner mounts too.

Ideally we’d have something in brushed steel to match taps/window furniture.
If you want a Matt silver finish anodised aluminium is a much nicer finish to touch than stainless, it doesn’t have that prickly feel. It’s softer to touch and more residential.
It’s a more expensive finish, but you look at and interact with door handles all the time and I reckon you’d appreciate the extra spend every day.

Nice

Don’t. Just don’t. Don’t want to get into our issues with the planners…

Interesting - internal door handles aren’t a rush so maybe I need to have a hands on look
-
• #4966
Do. Brushed stairway handrails are a proper bugbear of mine, they’re horrid to slide your hand along compared to delicious soft brass, toasty warm wood or silky anodised alu.
-
• #4967
That's a bit of clusterfuck though. The handle should really go on the lockrail and they've fucked up the panel moulding by cutting in the roses because the backset of the latch is too big.

Not to mention the alignment of screws on lever plate!

Sorry I was trolling.
Scrolled though the images on that link to the handle you've got to apply to buy, and clocked that absolute shit show and knew it would trigger people.
I hope its a photoshop and not some poor persons house.

Door knobs are really annoying if you actually want to use them though. No opening the door when your hands are full.
-
• #4971
Yes, Banham. Their handles are made by Croft in the UK and we've got a couple of them and they're lovely.

Ah interesting, I was looking at Croft, so thats good to know

80 is the standard BS that consumers are getting fobbed off with at the moment. I've not seen any higher CRI Hue compatible ones though.
Somehow missed that .... What internal door handles are you going for ? Something complementary to those would be good imo
