Just started a new 8:30 - 5:30 job, trying to keep getting base miles in but finding it difficult.
What times does Regents Park actually close? The advertised time for winter is 7 but I was there maybe 20 minutes after that and there was no problem.
Would be nice if it’s possible to stay a bit later to keep my usual mileage up! -

i picked up a cheap 26er fork that has a weird mount near the dropout that I thought was a disc mount from the pics.
Anyway the legs are so weirdly tapered, half way down it’s almost like a spoke’s step down, but at an raking angle. Will they snap? Will i die? -

Dust seals on cranks. Which way do they go? I.e. does the rubber side go against the crank arm or the bb?

Rubber against the bb with a dab of grease on the rubber side to keep water out

Amazing thanks; my google skills weren’t up to it and one unclear diagram had me questioning. 🙏

I was more interested in the weird mount, legs look ok, does a wheel you trust seem centred and straight in them?

oh i think that is a light bracket of something, it’s shite whatever it is. thanks. Haven’t tried a wheel yet.

I need a song translating from Italian to English any good Ai translators out there ? I can't find written lyrics either. Or any Italian speakers can help out for a pint in return ??
The song is Ben E King Amore Quando.

Yeah, do it that way, it's the way I've always done it, the way they come in the box and the way that doesn't sometimes drag on the bearing seals.

I use a tpMiFi internet wifi thing, with a vodafone ‘unlimited max data’ sim in it. I’m on a boat so I move around regularly and reception changes depending on area
Under ‘APN management’ on the mifi app I get the choices below. It was on pay as you go as default, which was working but I thought quite slow. What do the options mean, and which one should I set it to for best internet? ( the internet still works with each of them selected)

Tektro r559 - want some better pads for the commuter.
Says it needs p475 pads, and I think they’re a shimano style carrier.
Are these the right ones?

You probably need to edit the APN or create your own
see guide here

If they've got the carriers and need inserts they'll be the ones you linked to, the only others are campag style ones really.

Thank you very much! Despite riding bikes for a long time, I’m fucking clueless. Cheers.
Way to jump on that grenade. 🫡 😂
