This is pretty much what you want, marinate the meat overnight though. As for the ingredients, use what you’ve got or what you like, every recepie you read will be slightly different.
Here’s one we did earlier.

Chunks of meat were a bit on the large side. Chillies mellowed out nicely.

Anyone got any good, spiced but not hot, curry recipes? Our little one loves curries and spiced food - she smashes shakshuka and jollof rice, the little hipster - and we need more ideas.
Something like this recipe for Korma …? Bonus points if it is heavy on yoghurt as she won’t eat enough dairy.

Something like this, which uses black pepper not chillies for heat?

Got left to me own devices last night so did a quick version of 90s classic, crying tiger. Fillet steak, fish sauce, lime juice, palm sugar, shallot and chilles. So fucking good.

Show us yer graters.
Our not inexpensive box grater sends cheese everywhere except right below it.
Microplanes, while providing nicely textured parm fluff, don't have perfect accuracy either and risk knuckles.
Is there a magic grater that is laser accurate when it comes to dispensary?
Edit: to be clear, ones with receptacles underneath miss the fact that half of the cheese comes out on the cheese side of the blades.

We have something similar to this
Seems to be the best middle of the road option for me. I find the super fine section of the box grater as next best. But it is wasteful.
Maybe you should go full Italian restaurant?

UPPFYLLD keeps the results contained if that is what you are after.

Also Felicity Cloake, this chicken tikka recipe: https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/wordofmouth/2014/apr/24/how-to-cook-perfect-chicken-tikka-masala
can confirm the korma recipe is good.

Oxo softworks for box greater - The one piece handle means it doesn't break like so many others invariably do.
Also stays sharp for a lot longer, and doesn't have an entire side dedicate to nutmeg grating.
Our microplaner isn't a real microplaner, but a cheap small grater. It does the trick for parmesan and garlic though.

Microplane used with a shallow pasta bowl dish thing. The rubberised non handle end of the grater flush in the surface of the bowl.
No cheese / carrot / whatever escapes the dish in my experience.

Box graters are supposed to be used on their side

Oddly I've just had a sudden flashback to early childhood where we had one of those crank handled jobs @Aroogah posted. In Fiskars orange, it was the business. Easy to clean and fun to use for a 5 year old.
But now I'm just going to get this because yolo

Just pressure cooked some beef cheeks with a can of chopped toms blended with a packet of instant gelatine and some gochujang for 40 mins and omg. Chucked in some chickpeas and into the freezer.
Edit also a beef stock jelly. The gelatine to thicken sauce is genius

The food culture Venn diagram behind this dish is something I can support wholeheartedly.
That looks amazing. Will try.
