Have you enquired at your AD yet? Anecdatally hear that waiting times are down a lot. I couldn't stomach paying £7.5k over RRP (not that I have the means).

Also, rolex is rumoured to have opened 3 temporary manufacturing sites to easy demand issues.... So prices maybe will come down some moar soon

I've been into a couple of AD's- no watches for sale, no watches likely to be for sale, welcome to put your name on a list.

Smart thinking - work through the order backlog ASAP before buyers wake up to the recession and cancel.

Coming back to my car analogy, my pal has just ordered a new GT3. When he put his name down he was told there were ~20 people ahead of him and the dealer was only getting ~4 cars so basically no chance.
Plenty of folk were happy to spend ~£150k when they could enjoy the car for a bit and either get their money back or even make a profit, now that’s not really a thing people are reconsidering.
Not saying this will definitely happen with watches.
But it probably will.

He hasn’t finalised it yet AFAIK. He was talking about Amethyst with silver wheels last time we spoke. I was pushing for Linen metallic.

We are getting as much if not more than ever of steel sports, it’s just demand is increasing.
So no it’s not getting any easier. -

Hm, not really. There's a waiting list for an FP Journe, but that doesn't mean there's a lot of them out there. If you don't get it, you don't get it, and that's fine.

Could not imagine spending so much on a watch.
Have you seen the price of modern bikes?!

I was told 4+ year wait for a GT3

If i have the money when i'm 70 and want a Porsche. But have to limit myself to my current Volvo just because than what i can afford right now, what's the point. If i had 15k extra to put on either a mainstream, popular Rolex model or in a low interest savings account, i'd rather put it on the Rolex. I'd say many on here spend more time in the office than on their fixies nowadays and have some spare money to spend on their hobbies, outside of bikes.

Aah Time 4 a pint 🤦🏻♂️ this has been mentioned a few times before but shortened to T4AP and i was curious but Google kept throwing up a Canadian pension scheme so i just thought it was one of those if you don't know you don't deserve to know kind of clubs but it looks like fun even though I'm fully aware I'd be well out of my depth but I'm a quick learner who does like Beer and watches so subbed.

531 is a troll. Everyone has stopped replying to his drooling on the Starmer thread so he has decided to pollute this one.
