The bike I built for my mum didnt work out alas, due a problem with her knee she just could get over the top tube. So, I picked her up something more suitable and moved some parts over to it.
No mudguards yet as my parents had to get it into their car, but she loves the 650x2.3" tyres "they give me confidience..."
She took to it very well, within 5 mins she had popped a wheelie and snatched 3 phone off passing peds... so I'm happy.
Also I own a brompton now, thanks to @jambon
