I set the watch laps to start and finish on this distance - the time which is 18:26. My watch has that at well under 5km but I know that’s wrong. It turns out that the £500 Garmin watch doesn't even work as a stopwatch right now, so I have no idea how fast I was really running. Fantastic. Gonna have to do a park run tomorrow now
^ Reminds me of the time I thought I'd run close to sub 60 for 10 miles, at the MK half. I blew up bigly near the finish and wobbled home some time later only via the kindness of strangers spectating giving me drinks. This was before gps so there's no way I'll ever know for sure. It had felt great though until the wheels came off though.
