My friend does Ultras in Nike Pegasus, I don't do ultras, but if I did, I'd probably run in Adidas Bostons / Adizero Pro (not the cheat ones) or something else that I have knocking about.
I think Hokas are raved about in ultra circles. I suppose you're more interested in ultra ovals though. oh ho ho ho ho ho!

@doubleodavey what’s the deal with shoes for track ultras? Never run on a track before but assuming Alphaflys are going to be way too unstable/pointless for that.
My regular shoes are Novablast 2s but again, pretty unstable and fear wobbling off them when knackered and turning left for the 178th time.
Maybe something more old school with not too much stack like a Puma deviate nitro or something…
