I had one too. Never rode it. I do still have a Pocket Pistol ‘Mollica’ that I skated for about 5 minutes in 2006 (maybe?).
Edit: Here. Eesh that pink used to pop, now it’s almost brown (kept in the dark too).

Nice. One of the expensive foam ones. I've got a Roe S-camber from a similar time.

Yeah, I didn’t buy this myself, I got it ordered and shipped over by a USAnian who wanted my NOS Sims New Wave E in exchange. Sorta regret that now.

Roe. A great beer run board now?
-
• #2482
No, still use it. We go slaloming in Victoria Park every now and then.

£3 from the local dump. Switch out the rusted bolts, give it a clean and it’ll be a nice gift for my eldest.

Re: the Turner. We were talking about, and the guy knew my Summit P3. That deck never gets used any more. Also realised I have no idea if I still have my Kaliber deck which has fibreglass composite laminate. He had one of them too. This is the shop:

Are these likely to be any good?

I'm on the lookout for a skating helmet that I can use to cycle with as well, did a bit of googling and these two came up
https://www.triple8.co.uk/collections/multi-sport-helmets/products/gotham?variant=38333646405813
https://protecbrand.com/collections/old-school-certified/products/old-school-new-deal-certified
This is more to keep jnr happy, as he wears a helmet for riding and hopefully skating, and wants me to wear one when I'm doing the same with him.
Any others that are dual use that I should be looking at? -

Maybe? But Mini Logo are the best cheap trucks according to Slap. && uses them.

is that guy Heiko?
-
• #2492
Hmm?
Edit: same shop, Heiko was chilling outside

Sorry, I didn’t mean that to be so gnomic. Heiko is the same Heiko (I think) who was a slalom skater in the early 2000s.
@606 I used to turn up to seafront cones from time to time to watch. Never really got into wiggling though. I remember just getting time on any board was stressing me out back then (newborn kid, fixer-upper to be worked on, commuting from Brighton to London five days a week).
Still boggles the mind how a unit like Edwin (Brockman? Millwall fan) could get through a tight course where I’d look at where the next cone was and it might as well have been on the French coast. Because I wasn’t making it!

Co-sign on mini logo trucks. I’ve been using them for a while now, coming from indys. I’ll buy ML next time too.
Edit: with bones bushings, but the stock bushings are fine too

I think he took something like 120 tries to nail. I read something or other where he detailed the whole process

Thought someone did gap noseblunt but not sure

Watched this over an extremely slow 4G internet connection. Every frame took about 10-15 seconds to load. This gave me loads of time to imagine what trick was going to be done. Enjoyed the fact that the favourite option I’d come up with was the trick that was done. Ridiculous stuff. Love it.

Does anyone use the Fairdale Skate Rack?
Absurd to think it might work for ferrying a longboard about?
I know nothing of skating but am building a bike for my wife and the ability to carry her longboard would be cool

Love the way the wheels are displayed : )
2nd pic down: Turner Summerski is the odd board out (fiberglass/foam construction).
