Huge if true! Haha I did think it was tempting fate to write that. For new frames, it makes sense really doesn't it. Rim brakes bikes will be like film cameras; you can have one, but it'll be a retro choice and you'll need to buy it second hand. In fact, wait a minute, if the explosion of film camera prices is anything to go by we need to all start hoarding rim brake kit, like, now.

I feel the same tbqh. End of the cross check is definitely the end of an era. Steamroller still rim brake for now though obvs.
But then I also remember that discs are great (which is why everyone wants them) and perhaps I really should learn how to work on hydraulics? Maybe now is the time.
But yes, I do miss my pack rat.
