Exactly what I’ve been talking about with my pal. Over £1500 for a fairlight etc seems so expensive for what you get.

When you think that Fairlight, AC, Surly etc are going to be getting way better pricing on the raw materials due to the volume they’ll buying in, will be set up with machining to batch cut mitres and stuff then they’ll be painting in batches too.

Fairlight ≠ QBP

Totally diff economies of scale.

I presume QBP goes to Taiwan and asks a big frame maker to make one as per their design at larger quantities and then with the power of branding adds same margin/premiums as smaller brands with lesser margins.

QBP must always be shat on. They make gaspipe bikes and sell it at a premium price point.

In terms of UK pricing bump, I am sure brexit plays a factor.

How can QBP distribute both SRAM and Shimano.. surely a conflict of interest?

Are they not a distributior, or do they also own a couple of the brands too, or the lot? Like Madison owns genesis but distributes Shimano in the UK among other things. Some of the distributiors for the brands listed are with different companies in the UK.
