Great choice but a bit subtle imho! :)
I noticed a healthy scuff on my chukka’s today which I won’t lose sleep over but if there’s a fix I’d like enlightenment please…?

It happens. Best left alone and normal polish. It may fade given time but if not you'll be the only person that actually notices it.

Trying to find leather boots with a rubber sole for all day comfort with a flat black leather.
Not a common boot it seems

I'm sure the guy I go to has buffed out a couple of scuffs like that when i've had shoes in for fixing - pretty sure he just puts a bit of polish on the area and uses the buffing wheel in the opposite direction to the scuff to flatten it out, might leave it a bit shiny at first though

Better yet, something made in Australia, like Redbacks, or R.M. Williams for a bit more formality.

TIL Blunnies are £180 in the UK.
Welp.
I got these in the end - more than I wanted to spend but good value for Cordovan I reckon. https://meermin.com/products/116080-black-heritage-shell-cordovan-e-ultraflex-system

Got a pair of these in as-new condition, size 7, black that I’m not wearing. If anyone’s keen, drop me a PM.

Management have decided we must wear proper shoes, no trainers or sandals. I'm looking for (in advance of summer) a smart casual solution to 'proper shoes' that will go with tailored shorts, that aren't cripplingly too hot to wear. I've had a pair of ECCO trainer shoes that were mesh based but they are too trainer-ish. Any ideas hive mind of luffgus?

Struggling with the logic of rules that permit shorts but insist on “proper shoes”?!

My firm was like this pre-covid (admittedly maybe influenced by me telling HR I'd be wearing a skirt if they didn't let me wear shorts).
It's not a good look but the office used to be boiling so I didn't care.

They say that tailored shorts are fine, not combats. Short sleeved shirt tucked in, belt. Go figure, they are idiotic, focused on the wrong things. Plus rules around dress code are often contradictory. Then the next manager comes along and changes it.

Doc marten Adrian loafers, sanders Joel suede low tops, a suede penny loafer… shorts and smart shoes is a tough one…
Clark’s desert boots/treks/wallabies… though beware the crepe soles in the wet!
Solovair loafers/derbies
Timberland deck shoes…
My first pair of Michaels, seems they don’t do half sizes in the brown and fur so went for this ‘lis nuit’ which is kind of a purply navy blue, the colour is growing on me…
