@joepud01 ....yes! Been saying this for a while, and think I'm only
going one direction from here (more). I'm swamped atm, but I'd love to
make a batch for LFGSS again, and do more variety in sizes/detail etc.
I'll see if I can carve out sometime.well this just gets two massive thumbs up from me. Cheers!

What's the price of the hunter flap cap?

Gonna pick up the thinner insulated jacket. Questions,
I had the Zoa in large which was a nice for for on/off the bike, same size? Or go a bit bigger?
If the Zoa is a 10 in warmth, what would the thiner one be? Looking for about a 4...

Someone needs to make a winter collar thing that is removable, without taking your helmet off. I can slip my burner off and into a pocket very easily, a winter collar that was like a scarf that you wrap around your neck and slide into your base layer would be ideal.
I’m aware of the Zoa scarf, but a low-profile, shorter, merino version would be ideal.
I’m going to make one out of an old mothy merino base, but I think it’d sell well. The merino collar/buff is one of my favourite things to wear in the cold, but I always have to remove it after an hour, when the sun burns through, as it’s so effective that it makes me overheat.
pls help

Cheers G - I bought one the other day and have it to get back to tonight!

Could you just buy a merino scarf e.g. https://www.pureluxuries.com/products/bristol-grey-merino-wool-scarf and chop it into appropriately sized pieces for your requirements?

Most are too thick. I have an old R*pha merino base layer I can use.
It needs to be something like this. Left is the standard winter collar thing, middle is how I want it in a scarf format covering a bit more chest like a burner, right is roughly what I think the pattern would be.

Gotcha, makes sense!

size up. im usually a medium and the M insulated is super race fit / hard to get layers on underneath.
I’d say 4/10. it definitely doesnt keep you that warm off bike, but on - its incredible

I’ve thought about this. My thoughts were Velcro or popper closure as I didn’t think a wrap would stay in place.
I came to the conclusion it must have been tried and failed. -

magic magnets, surely? zero fuss, would just snap itself together.

Yeah, a popper with a light action could be good. But not sure it’d need it if you tuck it into your base layer. I’ll try and make one soon and report back.
The only function this would lose is that you wouldn’t be able to pull it up over your chin or mouth, if you’re into that.

this, was this news to anyone else?
-
• #1048
looks like they all sold out in about five minutes anyway, so clearly it wasn't priced too exorbitantly
-
• #1049
Reasonably priced, as a concept, is over.
When a coffee and a plain croissant costs £6.20 in Zone 3, this hat doesn’t sound so cray.

Depends how many they made, really. Stuff like that Supreme gear always sells out and loads of that is wildly overpriced imho.
I have a montbell fleece cap with ear flaps, it works well for hikes in cold and windy weather.
I'd wear this one but with a subtler branding !
