your problem right thereJokes aside - iPhones etc. are really made to be used (and synced) with macs, on Windows you can do it via iTunes.
You could also sync your iPad this way.If you don't like the idea of having iTunes be the thing that manages the content on your iOS devices then there are other ways / apps to use - back in the day VLC Media Player worked really well for me.
This lets you upload stuff (music, but also movies etc.) to your iPhone / iPad via WiFi sharing, via Dropbox, and a number of other ways.
Don’t have a mac, just ipad and iphone.
