Last few days of dry January and finally sampled 0% Guinness….really is great stuff, hard to tell the difference between that and standard

I was so full of lurgy over Xmas I never touched my Xmas week stash. Had the first one, Gouden Carolus, last night, delicious.

They're selling sours at my local (salisbury hotel) and got reminded how I really have a penchant for them... any good pubs do them? Seems hard to find...

Great Northern Railway Tavern (which I assume is pretty local to you) often has a few on. It's possibly even more expensive than the Salisbury though.

Their beer menu is usually on untappd.

Very accustomed to hackney beer prices and that was the first pub I’d been to in years where I was shocked by the prices. £10+ pints of pale ale

Think we have the same putty chat every year (page 440 for the last one). Haven’t tried it this year but will give it a go if I see it somewhere at the weekend

Seems like they've got a good rotating selection. Pint of sours at the Salisbury was £7 and once it gets in that range I tend to tell myself "it doesn't matter anymore, just enjoy it or get a fosters"

I tried it last weekend, good but not worth the hype . The ambigram label is good though.

One of the best low alcohol stouts I've had, is vegan and has a great name

Was in here last Friday drinking Tiny Rebel clwb Tropicana and some cask . Not sure of price cos retirement party all paid up . But would definitely go again.

Ok what's the Pohjala, their cellar series is usually amazing.

Kamin cognac sherry and Islay whisky BA Imperial Porter.

Much better than my first Pohjala experience which was burnt.

I quite like that Lervig stuff. Much less ‘thin’ than some.
