And guilty on several counts with the FTF.

  • I just bought some Ridewill ones after seeing the link on Page 1 of this thread. I ordered the MTB ones with a2c 420mm, but they sent me something that looks similar but only measures 400mm, which is too short / too small for my tyres+mudguards. Either their website is wrong or they sent these instead:

    https://www.ridewill.it/p/en/ridewill-bike-093504-28-trekking-ciclocross-fork-aluminum-carbon-1-1-8-disc/147533/

Unfortunately I fitted them before I noticed (including trimming steerer) so not sure if I can send them back, so they may well be up for sale, thought I'd start here - any use to you?

Plus points: eyelets for mudguards, no logos, I think the carbon weave looks much nicer in flesh than their photos, now 750g with the shorter steerer (28cm left). Bad points - IS disk tabs (I am using a post mount adapter but don't have a spare), possibly too wide for what you need (40mm tyre fits ok, but not with space for 45mm guard)

  • Hey folks

Considering getting a new fork for my Cinelli Tutto so I can use a disc brake and wider rims (currently is canti brakes).

Has anyone come across a carbon disk fork with clearance for 45c tires (and of course is 1 1/8)?

    Thanks all!

  • whisky no7 cross should get close to 45mm. they say 38 but there is room for more

  • Those ridewill ones I mention above will clear a 45 I think ... I have yet to do anything about selling mine on so currently some unused ones right here in the uk... if you might be interested I could double-check with a 45 tyre. I noticed they have a label on them from Intec, I had a browse and I think they these, also being sold under Ridewill (and no doubt others) - https://shop.ra-co.com/en/forks/mtb/26/26-mtb-fork-carbon-alloy-3k-carbon-finish-1-1-8-disc-is-mud-gards-eyelets-093505.html ... Designed for 26"x65mm but a2c is 400mm so works with 700c but I guess that might lift the front of a Cinelli Tutto a bit.

  • Oh thanks great shout - also had a quick look and there's also the No.9 which has 42mm clearance (should be ample).

  • Yeah the shift in geo would be my concern there - but will take a look, thanks!

  • ah yes they have a wide range. i am selling some no7 but whatever
