    Absolutely. Insurance companies do consider being part of a no-fault accident to be a risk factor and it will affect your premiums for future years.

  • Know someone that hit a deer, not much you can do and had to claim for bodywork repairs, premiums have shot up.

  • Amazing that is not a write off. I've seen many deer + car collisions where the car is totalled. I've met ex-US Park Rangers who have seen moose collisions that write off large SUVs.

  • I had a muntjack deer casually stroll out in front of me yesterday evening. Shopping ended up in the footwell, muntjack lived to play A10 chicken another day.
