Loft companies often have an all in one service inc drawings by a technician. But you will get standard products and details - possibly bad ones. A good architect should not only make sure the detailing looks nice but also that you are maximising space (quality and quantity) . Also insulation - if at all possible exceed the minimum and make sure plenty cross ventilation . The planet is only getting hotter.
