Proper leather shoes

After a few wears I'm coming to terms with the fact these are too narrow and too small for me. They are Solovair Dealer Boots - Gaucho Crazy Horse in size 8 and excellent condition. I picked up second hand so looking to recoup most of £90 I paid all in. If anyone interested let me know. Will do proper sales thread soon.

I`ve lusted for a pair of Paraboot Michael for a while and finally got a good deal on them.
Like really good...

Ìve tried on half a size smaller in one of their shops in Paris. They were spot on. I just couldnt justify the 450€ back then.

Since I like this shoe so much I thought I might give them a try, even if thy might be a tad too big.

Unfortunately they are... (even with wearing thicker socks)
Overall they fit really well, but there`s just too much wiggle-room and the shoe doesnt feel snug.

I don know shit about shoes...
Whats the best way to sorta make it work from your guys experience?

Insoles? Shoe-heel-grips? The combination?

pull a pair of insoles out of a pair of trainers. at least it's free to try that out before buying something.

Perfectly happy to kick you repeatedly in the nuts until you accept that they are.

Solovair would dominate in the nutkick test though, leather is thicker and there’s a proper shank in the sole.

They both have competition!
