Testing the water, I'm thinking about selling my 60cm Surly Pacer in blue. Over-all good condition, used regularly for commuting and a couple of audax.

Any interest on here and any idea of a fair price?

Straggler owners:

I was thinking of going full length outer gear cable for added protection from the elements, has anyone done this? Drawbacks? What is the nicest way of going by the downtube, BB shell and chainstay beaze ons?

Not sure it’s that necessary, water still leaks in the outer cable, but it works fine, just use some zip ties

I've used stick on guides for dynamo rear light routing before, which should also work for gear cables. Some of these

It's more for dirt and grime, was thinking of using some good sealed ones like Jagwire elite one, sealed and lubircated with additional inner sleeve

Midnight Special owners, what bars are you running?

Mine has some silly 52cm PNW Coast bars from when it was full gravel bike mode, but it's now basically my road bike (700c x 35mm) and they are, surprise surprise, too wide.

I love my Ritchey Butano bars on my MS, a bit of gravel flare but really just a nice road bar. I think they come in 38-46

In 44cm, tbh I don’t think that I’d have gone with them, but they are bang on.

Next question, do we think that modern Shimano disc rotors with cooling fins (I'm thinking of Ultegra/GRX CL800 ones) are too sleek and aero-looking for a Straggler? I'm agonising over it because they're dead nice but the vibe is wrong... right? My calipers are Paul Klampers. Thanks :-)
