Pulp were a very decent pop band.
Oasis were one of the best bands in the world for a short while as EB says (maybe even including a couple of singles off the second one).
Blur are basically joint 2nd with Radiohead (behind Alt-J) in the 'worst bands ever' list. The only reason they're not joint top is that both Blur and Radiohead did write one or two decent songs when they were trying to rip off Nirvana.
None of these bands made more than one decent album, they had no staying power, no creative depth, and even if I loved indie in the 90's I find all that music tired now. The Stone Roses who arguably sparked alot of it still sound awesome 25 years later. The only bands I still listen to from the mid 90s are Belle and Sebastian and Mogwai. God I sound like a dick.
