Hmmmmm I suppose I did but its like going for a big, tough ride and then at the end someone tells you just how shit you actually are on a mountain bike.
lol #rep
This is why I'll never enter the Dukes Weekender race. Pay money to race on trails that I ride for free every other day of the year... then see that the folk placing in the top 25 are basically professional riders. I'd rather keep the entry fee and buy a nice kebab with the cash on the way home.I'm gonna set up my own gravel race series with mandatory food stops and/or a mandatory bong hit. No prizes and no timing system.

The dates for Dukes never match up for me but I would actually like to see how I stack up on the gravel bike roster in Aberfoyle, it more my jam performance wise. MTB is a confidence game and I take a long time to build it up. Not paying £25 to climb a hill on a separate day though.
(Doing Gralloch and Dirty Reiver this year but will probably never MTB race again)

In the Scottish races I was waaaaay down the standings but mid pack in Colorado. I'm no very good though.
