I feel your pain on the tubeless tyres. Just won an extended fight to get mine hold air, also involving new tape, new gloop, new valves, lots of cleaning.

And I've put one of them on the wrong way round. :(

Wrong way round? There was a story going round a few years ago that manufacturers only added direction arrows to stop people calling them up to ask which way round they go. Unless there’s clearly a directional tread pattern it won’t make a difference.

That was a specific conti if I remember correctly, probably gp4000, off road stuff the direction can matter more, plus it's impossible to ride with both wheels going in opposite directions.

Mountain bike tyres, so direction does make a difference. Probably end up with slightly higher drag and lower braking. But no way on earth I'm changing it now. It'll do for winter :)

Amazon (I know, I know) returns. It will only let me print the label for one of my returns, so now I'm forced to find a place that will definitely print me a label, which usually turns out to be a fairly protracted process. Bugger!

I should have kept my mouth shut about tubeless.

Got some tyre inserts last week, so went to fit them. Can I get the fucking tyre back on the rim? Of course not.

Actually had zero trouble originally (Maxxis High Roller 2s on Hope Fortis rims) but with the foamy protection, I am struggling to even get the tyre over the run, let alone seated properly.
And I have only attempted the back wheel so far.

When we’re walking in winter and we see something like this, my wife will leave a huge chunk of snow on some part of the vehicle, whichever is closer to the sidewalk. These chunks are usually filled with sand and salt as well…

Longitudinal pavement parking is rife. It proper cheeses me off as in many situations the offender is still causing an obstruction to traffic on that side of the road so might as well avoid the pavement altogether.

It's something I wasn't aware of and didn't find annoying...until the first time I pushed a family member around in a wheelchair.

Why is that any different to a real meeting? You wouldn't sit in a meeting room in silence waiting for the chair. It's far more annoying when people don't join for several minutes after the agreed time.
