Yamaha AS301 is excellent for the money. Doesn’t have USB in for your laptop but would still work if the computer has headphone out.
Thanks, looks ideal and the phono input plus multiple line ins frees up the mixer tbh.
Hey have you googled Goodmans BBC monitors lately? If they’re the LS3/5a type then your partner has done very well!
These are slightly more recent (I think) Maxim 2's. Defo from the BBC, see picture.
The only amp I have with optical in as well as stereo line in is an old TV 5.1 surround one a Pioneer VSX-C301, which currently drives 2x Goodmans monitors my partner got from a bbc mcr clearout.
It is on its way out, dropping one channel intermittently so looking to replace with a hifi amp. Any entry level recommendations?
