As is helping manage my offspring's junior team as they sink to yet another defeat, aided by an utterly immobile goalkeeper, a complete inability to listen to (never mind act on) basic instructions, and boots with the sole held on by a bandage. FML.

Beauty. As much as I love a belted penalty they shouldn’t be held up as some kind of detraction from the Panenka. It is still one of the best European championship goals of all time and by some margin the best penalty. Panenka also shouldn’t be confused with the hop/skip/jump fool the keeper penalty either, that’s an entirely different beast.

The Panenka is just one end of the spectrum.

I watched three penalties this week, Messi, Neymar, and Lewandowski. Only one of them looked like they weren't a massive fucking bellend.

He really came across as a decent guy.
