Rolex now offering certified pre-owned pieces through Burcherer, will be fully rolled out to all AD's in 2023 apparently. Im guessing this would only help genuine buyers, who already own a Rolex, potentially secure another through their AD. Will be interesting to see what price point they choose.
It’s not Rolex selling them, it’s Bucherer. Rolex are offering the certification service. So I don’t think it affects waiting lists much.
It does present the slightly weird situation of a Rolex AD asking £3k more for a four year old Oyster Perpetual than it does for a brand new one though.
