• Almost done with getting our kitchen units in - just pelmets and kickboards to go in now. Worktops getting fitted probably next week I hope.

  • Worktops

    What are you having? If you're not having stone or stainless then I would suggest having stone or stainless steel either side of the cooker. Otherwise there's a good chance a big frying pan is going to singe the surface closest to the cooker.

    If you had granite it would blend into the cooker and you wouldn't notice it.

  • We're going with a white-ish quartz, going all the way round the back of the cooker as well. Aiming to be able to splash red wine and put pans down all over the place.
